The 12 days of follow up - Day 6 #TBT

This post is from a series of posts that I did last year:

We've made it halfway through our series on following up! If you've been here from the beginning, I really appreciate you! But if you've jumped into the middle of this, don't panic...there are links to the other posts below.

Today we're going to look at two of the items on Casey's list...this list is in the introduction to this series. You can find it here.

These two items are similar...small gift and showing up to their office (with coffee). Of course, if you don't live close to your clients, it's difficult to show up at their office, with or without coffee. However, you can always send them a gift and with SendOutCards, you can send a Starbucks gift card or Tim Hortons card, which is almost like showing up at their office with coffee.

Showing up at a client's, or potential client's, office with food is always a good idea! Whether it's coffee and donuts, candy or SendOutCards world famous brownies, your client will welcome you with open arms. Depending on the size of their office, you can show up with anything from a 2 pack to a 36 pack of brownies. Or maybe a couple of dozen cookies.

But whatever you do, don't show up empty handed!

This strategy is really good if you've been having trouble getting past the gatekeeper and talking to the person you want to talk to. Bring a basket of goodies for the gatekeeper and he or she will almost inevitably share it with everyone in the office...including the person you've been trying to contact! And now you look like a person that is worth getting to know better.

Take a few minutes and look at all of the various gifts that SendOutCards has to offer. If the client lives far away, SendOutCards can deliver the gift for you. If you want to deliver the gift in person, you can have it shipped to you instead.

And if you haven't downloaded the SendOutCards app, go ahead and do so. It's free and if you're not already a SendOutCards customer or distributor the first three cards that you send are on me!
