Random Musings: A user's guide

The ideal way to use this blog is to read it every day, but I know that's not practical for everyone.

The next best choice is to read "The Friday Fishwrap" and "Your weekend guide to interesting days", that way you'll get a quick overview of what had been posted during the week, with links to take you to the posts that seem interesting to you on Friday plus a list of days for the coming week on Saturday.

I try to provide useful, entertaining and/or educational posts on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday with an encore appearance of a prior post on Throwback Thursday. Friday is the weekly wrap-up while Saturday is the list of interesting days from the current week, the upcoming week and one month out. Sunday is still a work in progress with just a list of interesting days for the current day, the next day, the next week and the next month. I'll probably do something more with it sometime in the future, but I don't know what yet.

If you only have time to read one post per week, you'll have to decide between Friday and Saturday, depending on your need: Friday if you're interested in the content that had been posted or Saturday if you're interested in the upcoming days to celebrate.

What do you think about having a monthly wrap-up of the posts? I could do it on the fourth Friday of the month. Or how about every Sunday? I could keep a running list of the previous four weeks. Just an idea...I don't know if I'll follow up on it.

Just don't skip over the interesting days...they may be the most important part of the blog. I wrote about them here.

So, I hope that you'll take a few minutes and read this blog every day but if you can't please take a few minutes and check it out once or twice a week.
