In particular, if you read the interesting days coming up 7 days out, you can use it to build relationships with your clients and customers, or even prospective customers. Seven days is just enough time to get a card in the mail to those clients or prospects that may find a particular day interesting. For example, I have a friend, Casey Eberhart, who likes two sports...curling and bull riding. And I also knows that he likes toffee covered peanuts. So, guess who got a personally designed Curling Is Cool Day card and a package of Butter Toffee Peanuts? It made an impression on him, and if he'd been a client or prospect do you think he'd be more likely to do business with me?
Another example is that I sent all of my customers a personally designed forget-me-not card and a package of Forget Me Not Flower Seeds for Forget-Me-Not Day.
The best way is to check the interesting days every day. That way you can see what's coming up 7 days out and you can also see what's coming up a month out. You can then plan ahead for days that you want to send out cards. The next best thing is to check Saturday's post which lists all the days coming up in the current week (as well as a month out). You can still send cards out for the coming week, although they won't arrive on or before the celebration day, but remember that the only card that is too late is the one that's never sent!
And if you want to see what topics were covered during the week but you don't want to read it every day be sure to check out The Friday Fishwrap every Friday. It'll give you a list of the topics covered, as well as a brief description.
So, send out those interesting day cards to your customers or prospects as an additional contact because it takes 7 - 12 contacts for most people to decide to buy from you.
Interesting days

Next Monday - Red Rose Day, Peanut Butter Cookie Day, Superman Day and Loving Day Who do you know that's a fan of roses? Or maybe a big Superman fan? Or how about peanut butter cookies?
