Just do it!
You've deleted all of the
emails that you don't need to take action on, or that you don't need to
save for reference. Then you delegated as much of the email that you
have left to somebody else to take action on. Now what? If it's going to
take more than 2 minutes to deal with an email, then defer it. But if
it's going to take 2 minutes or less, then go ahead and reply to it now.
Or forward it as the case may be. It's as simple as that! And all you
have left now are the emails that will take more than 2 minutes to deal
with or that you want to save for future reference. And tomorrow, I'll
tell you how to defer your emails or where to store the emails that you
want to save.
