Random musings: Purely random

I had a fun meeting yesterday with Briana Cavanaugh. We met about a year and a half ago at a 3 day event put on by Brandy Mychals and Vinca Heart.

We reconnected yesterday at Sweet Bar Bakery on Broadway in Oakland. The meeting was a little early for me, so I wasn't ready to eat yet. After Briana got her lunch, we sat outside for a while and caught up. Then she took me next door to Impact Hub, which is a co-working space similar to Laptop Lounge in Walnut Creek. Speaking of Laptop Lounge, they have a couple of interesting events coming up. The first is on April 30th…the Walnut Creek Chamber BASH and the second is 3rd Annual Hump Day Happy Hour Speed Networking on May 13th. Tomorrow I'm planning on taking a field trip to update the blog post that Elizabeth Walker picked as her favorite last week for my 200th blog post contest. Elizabeth won a 2 pack of brownies for choosing her favorite blog post. So hopefully next week I'll have an updated blog post for you.
