One of the bad things about missing a blog post is when I'm going back a year or two later and I don't have as many choices to choose from. Last year I didn't have a post and the year before was about the SendOutCards 2016 convention, so this post was originally published 3 years ago:

Interesting days

Today - Ancestor Appreciation Day, Tourism Day and Crush a Can Day Where are your ancestors from? And have you ever visited there?

Tomorrow - Good Neighbor Day, Drink Beer Day and Family Day Like a good neighbor...you're there with a beer for your neighbors. How about a Monday night football neighborhood tailgate party with your friends and family?

Next Sunday - Improve Your Office Day I think the rest of these ideas can be used to improve your office. You probably can't have a live animal in your office, but how about some pictures of animals since it's also World Animal Day. Or how about Vodka Day? There aren't many things around the office that a stiff belt of vodka won't fix. It's also Ship in A Bottle Day and Change A Light Day One could literally brighten your office, while the other could figuratively do it. And lastly, it's Taco Day There's not much that will improve an office more than a taco bar

October 27 - Navy Day I may have to break out my navy blazer to celebrate. And it's Black Cat Day It's not easy being a black cat most of the time, but this is a day they can celebrate

Today there are two additional days to celebrate that weren't on the calendar 3 years ago: Morning Show Hosts Day and Corned Beef Hash Day

Tomorrow we won't be celebrating Family Day since it always falls on the fourth Monday in September but we'll also be celebrating these days this year: Hug a Vegetarian Day, Ask A Stupid Question Day, World Rabies Day and Strawberry Cream Pie Day to make up for it

Instead of Next Sunday, we'll be looking at Next Thursday, which is the same as 3 years ago except we won't be celebrating Change A Light Day since it occurs on the first Sunday in October.

And this year, there are 3 more things to celebrate on October 27th: Make A Difference Day, Cranky Co-Workers Day and Hug A Sheep Day
