December is Tie Month!

There's an interesting article on Wikipedia about the history and types of ties; such as ascot, bow, bolo, etc. As well as different types of "regimental" ties. But more interesting was the fact that it was shown mathematically that there are 85 Ways to Tie a Tie but of those 85 ways, there are only 13 that are considered to be "aesthetic knots" suitable for use. A couple of the more popular knots are the 4-in-hand (#2 in the book) and the Half-Windsor (#7). And yes, I've requested the book from the library.
