Five tips for planning your next vacation with geocaching

I've posted about geocaching before.

I have found geocaches in a couple of other states, and I've looked for them in a few other states but without much luck, but here are some ideas on how to easily fit geocaching into any trip.

This blog post is based on a blog at Geocaching.com:
Geocachers love showing off their locations—that’s why geocaching is one of the best ways to discover new places! The next time you’re on a trip, planning a trip, or daydreaming of a trip, try using one of these 5 tips to explore a destination through geocaching:

  1. GeoTours
  2. Offline maps
  3. Multi-Caches
  4. Sort by Favorite Points
  5. Meet the locals
I've never actually tried any of these methods, but they do sound like fun! Be sure to check out the article so you can find out more about these five methods.

There aren't any geotours close to me, the closest one is in Portland, although there is one in Ft. Worth with 30 caches in it. Since the 2020 SendOutCards convention will be in Dallas I think this will have to be added to my itinerary. Here's the link to the geotour, if you want to check it out.
