Late blog post today

As you may have read in my post on Tuesday, this week is a bit abnormal for me. I had a couple of things come up unexpectedly so I didn't get a blog written last night. But here it is now!

I went to a LeTip meeting this morning/afternoon in Vacaville, CA. LeTip is a networking organization, similar to BNI (Business Networking International) or Successful Thinkers Network. I've been to meetings in each of these groups. I don't have a favorite at this time.

I was invited to the LeTip meeting by my insurance agent, Mitch Bassignani. I've been with Mitch for probably 25 years. I had approached him about SendOutCards and he suggested that I attend the meeting. There were about half of their 40 members there. I did talk to a few and I got some business cards, so now starts the followup process. Here is a recording of an excellent followup plan by my SOC upline, Mark Herdering. This is primarily a SendOutCards distributor call, but it is useful for anyone who needs to followup with someone.

I'll probably attend another LeTip meeting next week. I'll let you know.

A minimal blog post

It's about 11:30 on Monday night as I type this for Tuesday's blog post. My schedule is all messed up for this week. I was awake during the day this weekend for a SendOutCards event in San Diego and I had an evening CPR/First Aid class from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM. I started to work on something in the afternoon but I didn't have time to finish. And when I got home I had a new iPad Mini 4 that I had gotten from AT&T for my 35 year anniversary, so of course I had to play with that. I have a morning meeting at Starbucks so I'm going to bed early, so that means only the

5 Ways to Tie a Scarf: Your 60-Second Visual Guide

Since the weather is getting colder, I figured this article is appropriate. This is from The Art of Manliness (and yes, I do like many of their articles).

Scarves are a great way to stay toasty warm when the winter winds come biting. But many men don’t know how to tie a scarf in a masculine and confident way. Using Antonio Centeno’s article from a few years ago, we illustrated 5 of the best ways for a man to tie a scarf so you can see your options at a glance.
The first 3 ways are for medium-length scarves, and will serve you well in cool temperatures — above freezing and up into the 50s. The final 2 ways are for longer scarves, and are better for those chilly days that dip well below the freezing mark.
Sport any of these different styles, and you’ll be a dapper fellow about town.
SendOutCards has a couple of different tie and scarf sets for men (as well as several scarves for women). Check out this red set for men (there is also a white set).

San Diego SendOutCards Opportunity Presentation & Training

I'm heading down to San Diego tomorrow for this SendOutCards event. Vanessa Hunter, SOC VP of Marketing and a network marketing veteran, is a very dynamic speaker. Check out this video of her keynote speech at the 2014 SendOutCards convention on empowering women.

And Jordan Adler is a legend in the network marketing industry, although he wasn't always that way. In fact, he was involved in 11 companies in ten years and never made a dime. He is the number 1 earner in SendOutCards and was #81 worldwide according to this survey from January of last year. He is also the author of  a great book called "Beach Money".

If you're anywhere in the Southern California, Southern Nevada or Arizona areas, and you'd like to attend as my guest, let me know.
