If you've been in network marketing for awhile, you've probably heard this:
And it's absolutely true. About 2% will and 98% won't. The question should be "So what can I do about it?" Maybe you can guess what I'm going to say...follow-up! We already know that only about 2% of people make a buying decision on the first exposure. The point is that you make your presentation and then move on, but don't forget to circle back.
This also ties in with this golden oldie:
Although,
they left the most important words out: You can't say the right thing
to the wrong person AT ANY TIME. You can't say the wrong thing to the
right person AT THE RIGHT TIME.
You'll
never know when the right time might be, so you just keep following up,
until they buy or die! (Or tell you to leave them alone!)
Since
it usually takes 90% of people four or more exposures before they
make a buying decision, you want to make sure you're the one making
that exposure. I'm sure you've heard "I've heard of..." whatever your
company is. That's great! Someone has gotten at least the first exposure
out of the way for you!
Just remember that:
Most will, at the right time; a few won't, at any time; so what? If not this time, maybe next time!Don't forget, we offer one of the best follow-up tools available!
