Modesto Money Makers

That's the name of the new Gold Star chapter that started this past Friday. There were several people there for the first meeting, including Mary Matthews, of iHeart Media. Mary is the Regional Director for Gold Star...she's over all of the clubs in the Central Valley. The director of the new club is Cathi Korelin "The Tax Guruette". We also had visitors from other clubs...Felipe Torres with Primerica who was visiting from the Ceres chapter (my old club but I left before he arrived at that club) and Tina Hegwood with Servpro...I believe she was from the Lodi chapter.

And several more people showed up to become members...Alexandra Rubio Shannon with AAA Insurance, Reyna Landin also from Servpro but she'll be part of this chapter (only one person per industry per chapter) and Ysidro Fuentes with Alameda Mortgage Corp.

Since this is a brand new chapter the categories are pretty much wide open. Stop by this Friday at noon at Papapolloni Mediterranean Bistro.
