Why you CAN'T afford not to send holiday cards recap #TBT

Today's blog post was originally published last year:

This is the event that I spoke at on Thursday of last week. We had a pretty good turnout...there were 14 of us there and I knew all but 4 of them.

Here is basically what I talked about:

  • Texts and posts are not good enough
  • Part of the reason it's not good enough is because we like touching stuff and displaying stuff. That's why vinyl records and books printed on paper are making a comeback
  • There’s a time and place for electronic greetings but the holidays is not one of them.
  • There are three main occasions to send greeting cards for your business…sending a thank you card, a birthday card and a holiday card. More cards are always better but if you’re not taking advantage of at least these three occasions every year, you’re missing out on keeping your relationship with your clients alive.
  • Most of the big holidays are between Halloween and Valentine’s Day, but there are lots of fun holidays to celebrate. I shared a card from Kimmer Sue and her husband Michael celebrating National Chocolate Day
  • But the holidays during this time of year are important for most people and your clients like being remembered during this time of year and those with whom you do business expect to be remembered during the holidays. And if you don’t send a card, you’ll leave the impression that you don’t care about them. Holiday cards show your customers and clients that you appreciate their business, and that you want to share the spirit of the season.
  • I then talked about ROI. It’s not always easy to measure the ROI on your holiday cards but if your customers are expecting a card from you but don’t get one it may be easier to measure the loss of business. Most people don’t stop doing business with a company because of price, product or service, but rather because they think you don’t care about them.
  • Remember all the wining and dining you did with your clients/customers when you were prospecting for their business? You need to keep it up even after they become your clients because your clients are your competitors’ prospect!
  • If you doubt that business holiday cards generate an excellent return on investment, ask yourself this: All other things being equal, which company would you choose to do business with -- the company that sent you a holiday card every year or the company that only contacted you when it was time to reorder or collect payment?
  • I do have a video from a realtor that shows a 3,500% ROI over a 12 month period by sending multiple cards and gifts during the year.
  • The holidays aren’t the time to be promoting your business, but a time to connect with your clients and prospects. Nothing more than “Happy holidays from XYZ Company” or maybe some subtle branding on the back panel of the card. Kimmer Sue can help with that.
That's pretty much it. Included below are some handy resources:

This is going to be HUGE!

We have over 100,000 registered (and many more on their way as we head into day 1).

It’s going to be one of the LARGEST online events for network marketers around the world…

Over the span of 1 week, we’re going to equip you with the toolsresources, and strategies of what’s working today in the profession so you can have your BEST week ever!

We’re going live tomorrow, November 11th, at 11:00 am Pacific!

It’s happening here in the Facebook Community.

The TOP recruiters in Network Marketing will be LIVE sharing the never-before-shared secret strategies they've used to build the largest, highest-revenue teams in the world.

And every single day, we’re going to have you execute on action items to learn as you go, and actively learn.

While most people passively consume information when they attend an online event, webinar, or summit…

We’re going to be in this TOGETHER and take action as we go.

Feel free to share this with anyone you think would benefit from it, because it still isn’t too late to register

Can’t wait to hop on live tomorrow

Eric Worre

P.S. Ready to have the best recruiting week of your life and set yourself up for success for 2021? Day 1 of 7 starts tomorrow, and everything happens inside the Facebook Community!

It lasts for approximately 90 minutes each day and is absolutely free. If you're not able to attend live, the recordings will be available for 24 hours.

You can register for the event here.

This is perfect timing for the ground floor opportunity that I wrote about yesterday. You can sign up for free for the opportunity through Monday here, while the event runs through Tuesday. A ground floor opportunity

Most people say that they wish they had gotten in on the ground floor of an opportunity like Google or Amazon, but they did have a chance to get in fairly early when the stock was first issued but they didn't.

And the same with network marketing companies. People say that the only people who make money are the ones who got in at the beginning. If only they had gotten into Amway in the fifties they'd be rich now. But again, when they're offered an opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a network marketing company, they turn it down.

Right now, people are being offered the chance to get started in a new network marketing company, whose parent company has been in business for 17 years.

SendOutCards is launching what they call "A Better Way", I'm still not sure how it's going to be organized...whether SendOutCards is going to change their name, or ABW will be a subsidiary, or it'll just be the name of a new product line.

I wrote about it a few times over the past week...most recently yesterday. Here's what I know about it so far:

  • It will be officially launched on January 15th. There are only a handful of people who know what is actually launching on that day
  • There will be six streams of income, with SendOutCards being one of the streams
  • It doesn't cost anything to be a part of the launch. In fact, if you sign up you'll get a one year SendOutCards affiliate account...a $99 value
  • The current window of opportunity closes at 11:59 PM MST on Monday, November 16
  • If you sign up, you will receive your own website, just like the one linked to above. You can share your link with other people and if someone signs up they'll be in your downline...you can have people in your downline even before the company launches! There is no charge for any of this. You can build your downline as deep and wide as you can for free
  • If you sign up even one person, you will be entered into the Leadership Pool, which is already being funded
  • There are only about 3,500 people signed up at the moment

So, take a chance...you have absolutely nothing to lose. You can pre-build your team before the launch for free!

What is relationship development? - updated

Today's blog post is an update to last Tuesday's blog post

Here is the blog post from last week:

Good question! But I really have no idea!

It was brought up on yesterday's SendOutCards corporate call.

There were several things of interest that were brought up, including a partial release of information concerning the product launch in January. This is an invitation only event, and I'm not qualified yet. Although some of it will be made available to the public.

Here is what was made available on the call:

1. There will be a big announcement and an exclusive window for attendees ONLY to act on this opportunity at the 2020 Annual Promptings Convention on November 6 & 7!
2. This event is the beginning of the first wave of momentum toward a big launch on January 15 - get your team pumped!
3. Those who attend convention will be the first to share and invite others to this opportunity.
4. We have simplified a new team member invitation.
5. Attendees at convention will be the first to experience this new personalized replicated page invite process.
  • You will get the first window to invite new team members
  • Grow your genealogy
  • Start inviting people for FREE immediately
  • Get others to do the same
  • Additional and incredible bonuses will be shared at convention
6. You MUST be at convention to take advantage of this opportunity. Go to 2020 Promptings Convention and register NOW!
7. Build multiple streams of income through the art of relationship development. Develop connections and create opportunity now.
8. Advancement of multiple product streams will provide premier relationship development tools for the world.
9. Become empowered; Take charge of your success
10. How getting started now will help your prospects begin building momentum as they create a business and find financial success. Why wait? The sooner you get started, the sooner you'll have a business you're proud of!

So, it looks like there will be additional products offered besides greeting cards and gifts! Plus, there was a lot of mention about A Better Way...I'm not sure if that means the company is going to change its name, or maybe that's the name of the new product line, or maybe something else entirely! But I'll be there this Friday and Saturday. Be sure to check out yesterday's blog post for more about the convention!

And here is what I've learned since then:

I'm still not sure if "A Better Way" is the new official name for SendOutCards but it is what they're calling the new program. The program will be made up of six streams of income, with SendOutCards being one of them.

Relationship development is made up of relationship marketing and personal development. We'll learn more about that on January 15th when "A Better Way" launches.

The early bird window ends today at 5:00 PM PST. You can still sign up to get the updates on January 15th plus you'll get a free SendOutCards affiliate account for 12 months, if you're not a current SOC affiliate. And anyone you sign up has until 5:00 tonight to sign up anyone under them.

If you want to sign up, go here. It costs nothing to join, and you'll be first in line for the launch of a new network marketing opportunity. And if you sign up and manage to sign up at least one other person before the deadline, you'll be entered in something called the Leadership Pool, which will be available on January 15th.
